City of Champaign releases capital improvements plan; doesn’t allocate any money for Garden Hills improvements
In March, WILL put together this great article talking about one of C-U’s most-neglected neighborhoods, Garden Hills, on the North End of Champaign.
Fraught with drainage problems, Garden Hills has been waiting on a fix (and on streetlights and sidewalks – seriously) for years. Today it appears they’ll have to wait even more, with the City neglecting to include the project in their 10-year capital improvements plan.
Yikes.

Meyers Leonard had a game for the ages last night
Even though Portland still lost, Meyers hit five 3-pointers in the first half. For those keeping score at home, that is five times the amount of 3-point shots he hit in his entire Illini career.
We might actually be cursed.
