He could definitely just be testing the waters, which any good player should probably do this before deciding to leave school. He’s not locked into any decision until he formally enters the draft process – he can even hire an agent and still come back next year. So we’ll see what happens.

If Cockburn does leave, though, and Ayo announces his departure in the near future, next year’s outlook may be grim.
