Here’s your reminder that recruiting Twitter might be the worst part of Twitter
At least in the top five.
Here’s a tip: don’t tweet at or about high school-aged teenagers unless it’s positive. Everything else is a bad look. Just look at this guy talk smack and then get roasted by a teenager:
Between stuff like this and people who make a significant hobby of photoshopping high school sophomores into various college uniforms, recruiting Twitter is one of the strangest places on the sports internet.
For what it’s worth, Casey Washington goes to Pflugerville High School in Texas, whose logo and stadium were used in the TV show version of Friday Night Lights. So that’s pretty neat.
The Illini play Indiana tonight
It’s Senior Night for Aaron Jordan. He led the nation in 3P% last year for a month or so. That was a fun time.
It might be Ayo’s last game in Champaign. Maybe not. Who knows?
The Illini are 2 point favorites, which is concerning.
